money talks. this page is the part that doesn't.
01what you are buying
one dollar buys one truth vote on one side of one debate. it is a vote in a public game, not a product, a service, a subscription, a security, a share, or an investment. it grants no ownership of anything, no rights over anyone, and no claim on any money collected here.
02the game
the side with more dollars is labelled the winner and the largest single spender on that side is labelled the holder. both labels change the moment someone else spends more, and both can be taken from you at any time by anyone. the labels are entertainment. nothing on this site is a statement of fact about the world.
03all sales are final
votes are counted the instant payment clears and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or refunded. do not spend money here that you would want back. if you dispute a charge with your bank, the corresponding votes are removed and any label they earned is recalculated.
04handles are not verified
the x handle attached to a payment is typed by whoever paid. it is not verified and does not mean the account named endorses, agrees with, or knows about anything on this page. if a handle is being used to impersonate you, it is removed on request from that account.
05what is kept
free votes store a one-way hash of your ip and browser string, used only to stop one person voting a hundred times. paid votes store the amount, the side, the country your card was used from, and the handle you typed. card numbers never touch this site — payment is handled entirely by stripe. no accounts, no passwords, no email lists, no advertising trackers. usage is measured in aggregate to see which debates people read.
06payments
all payments are processed by stripe under stripe's own terms. the receipt stripe sends you is the record of your payment, and stripe is the channel for any billing question or dispute.
07no guarantees
this site is run by one person and is provided as is. it can go down, lose data, change the rules, close a debate, or shut down entirely, at any time, without notice and without refund. the reveal promised at ten thousand dollars is an intention, not a contract.
08removal
a handle can be removed from the record on request from the x account that owns it. removing a handle does not remove or refund the money behind it.
